Go as slow as you like! that's exactly what green group is for. Much better to learn how to handle your bike at a track day then on the street.
I'm going on the 22nd. See you all out there.
as for your bike- loosen off the bottom triple clamp bolts, grab the front brake and bounce the front end a couple times to get any twist in the front end out. Tighten the bottom triple clamp bolts back up and have someone who knows how to ride take it for a spin to make sure everything is okay...
still makes me laugh, was following buckland around at TMP one day figuring i might pick something up (he didnt know this, i just happened to end up behind him). Right behind him going into corner 1 and started braking way before him and thought oh i must be braking way too early. Guess he...
LoL whats with all this stuff in the news? The lead singer from As I Lay Dieing just got charged with an attempted murder plot on his wife, there was another one too im forgetting
I hadn't heard that about cal. That would be pretty tough for him because he has done well, but by the same token it does seem like he's kind of plateaued.
I dont think stoners coming back. He was on one of the best bikes and isn't going to come back for less then that. Sure he can ride that...
So just for fun and using 100 as the mean. If 80 % of the population were to fall between 90-110 evenly distributed, would you say people between 90-100% were below average? I've never taken a statistics course but i'm pretty sure the average, and an average sample are two different things. So...
Not only is that atrocious sentence structure, you're going to take a comment like that as if it actually came from stoners mouth? You should go get a job with CNN.
EDIT: read the article, that has to be one of the more atrociously written pieces i've read in a long time. Someone needs to...
That couldn't possibly be more wrong. Depending what you define as average anything from a slight majority to 99% of your sample could qualify as average. Guess we know what side of average you fall on :P
LoL! so you've some how reasoned that his attitude is responsible for your high insurance...
LoL well take her for a walk, crate her for an hour and lets go for a burn this weekend in the woods near you. Super cute pup though.
Anyone else up for a ride?
Thats awesome. To paraphrase "I need to go find my balls because if i dont these guys are going to kick me around." It also wasn't borderline enough for RD to do anything, Marquez got the position, he just did it in a way that he had no choice but to run the apex wide. Ballsy move but at that...
I still cant get out of my brain from last season watching the expert superbike guys in the rain drifting their bikes around. No they aren't regulated but courses like this are generally made up of racers who have at the very least their expert plates. These are people you can learn a lot from.
BIBBITY BUMP!
Spring is here my two wheeled friends, who wants to get out and ride?? I'm in brantford so both hamilton and kitchener are reasonable drives for me. I'd be up for a ride this weekend if anyone wants to go, might even be around during the week as works been hit or miss (mostly...
No legitimate shop should be doing this. My good friend works at a toyota dealership and just spent 2 1/2 days doing a 4 hour job because of a broken wire, and the customer got billed for 4 hours. While it sucks for the mechanic, they usually get jobs done much faster then what the book quotes...
Thats exactly what i'm thinking. It's not that the bike needs it at 1000 km, they just want them checked for the sake of being able to catch the odd bad one before it explodes. The low CC bikes definitely dont get the same level of attention when it comes to the motor which should come as no...
While that may be true, if you do it yourself there is no proof (receipt from a shop) that the service was actually done and they would likely deny you any related warranty as a result.
Is this a registered honda dealership? I would do as suggested where you mark the valve cover and see if they actually do the work or not. If they dont then i would first talk to the service manager, show him the evidence, and then basically make him give you the world. Free oil changes forever...
This is probably why my wheelies suck and are sketchy. Whenever i do a wheelie on my stock geared 600 i actually let the clutch snap right out. Usually works, sometimes its a bit hairy lol.
