Who's riding on the first day of spring with a nice 0-1 C

About to ride my sisters bike home from storage. She's home from MTL next week and wants work done to it  can't say I'm excited about that! got an hour in on the thruxton yesterday during the warmest portion of the day and even that left me slightly numb, and I kept shivering indoors...

Traffic violations and ignoring to pay

I forgot to pay a ticket once, license was suspended for a week and a half. Got a letter in the mail saying my license was suspended as of 3 or 4 days prior. So for those days 3 or 4 days I was pretty much driving on a suspended license. Then when you pay your fines and fees it takes a few...

Motorcycle involved in Mississauga crash that killed two people was stolen

That's incredibly dumb. And while I do get what you're saying, what's more dangerous: a) bird hitting your windshield b) bird hitting your head/visor/helmet? a) pulling over after 4/4 tires blow out on your car b) pulling over after 1/2 tires blows out on your bike? Bikes are more dangerous...

missed canada post delivery td for bike parts, should i try my luck tonight?

I always try later that same day and it's only been an issue once. Either the package didn't get back to base yet or the clerk was just being a jerk.

    anyone ever use http://www.joerocketdirect.com ?

Bought a JR great white north jacket at the show a few weeks back from JP bikes booth and saved the tax. Great jacket that one, my first riding jacket 4 seasons in, should've probably worn one when I needed it the most :happy6: never wrecked though thankfully and oddly enough, now that I'm...

    Are Suzuki GSX-R's becoming Rare?

Well from what i’ve seen it’s not really the kind of people who own homes buying those ducs it’s 20 year olds who live with their parents. Same demographic as those young bimmer and audi drivers who need the “best and flashiest” thing. You’ve been riding for a year and upgraded to a duc? Don’t...

    Seafoam?

I run vpower in my vehicles so I don't really need this but I've used it before, simply dumping a can into the tank and going on a high RPM drive on the freeway, and on cars that use regular.

    Burrito Boyz Tuesday Nights 4.0

Between the sweet potato, soy mock beef, a mix of both, or just a bean burrito (sans cheese), I'm overwhelmed :D Not to mention the fact that they are super reasonably priced. The pricing actually makes sense, veg stuff costs less than meat chicken and fish...who woulda thunk it

    Burrito Boyz Tuesday Nights 4.0

I love burrito boys and summer ride-ins at the stavebank location. BB is a staple of my riding season, occasionally even stopping at two different ones in the same day! Love that ****, well priced, and can't beat those vegan options anywhere!

    Canadian Online Stores

in terms of ordering from US sites, I'm registered with CBIUSA to pick up all my packages. Used them for years. Big bulky car and bike parts are no longer a hassle, this place is about 10 minutes from the rainbow bridge. 3 hour trip from Mississauga if all I'm doing is picking stuff up (but I...

Bike Damaged by one of GTAM's Sponsored Dealers.

OP damage sucks, i'll give you that. But let's face it. If a dealer has little space their hands are tied. I bought my bike at sturgess, tiny showroom. Warranty repair had me leaving my brand new >1month old bike at their shop for the greater part of a week and you bet it got rained on...

dalton times insurance for new riders

My policy just renewed as of March. So I'm literally having to wait a year. I guess what you're saying is if I switch over in February 2017, lets say, I'll get a couple of winter months refunded off the bike?

dalton times insurance for new riders

Saw these guys at a booth at the show a couple of weeks ago. After reading about them here I told my buddy (wanting to get his m1/m2 this year, he already has a CB500R) to check them out. After getting quotes for 2600 from other companies, he contacted the rep we talked to at the show and she...
