History is a bit sketchy

I owned my 2007 Ninja 650R for 3 years. I did routine maintenance like cleaning and lubing the chain, changing the oil and filter as well and replacing the battery. I've change the brake pads and rotors on my car before.
During the 3 years of owning the Ninja, I seldom rode it to work because I...
The seating position wasn't very comfortable either, the previous owner installed lowered handlebars, that made the riding position different. I loved the power of the 650. Handling was a bit difficult - I think due to my inexperience more than anything else.
If I trek out to BC, I would...
I plan to buy my next motorcycle soon and plan a trip to BC in July. Which bike will get me there and back in style and comfort?

1999 Honda VFR800...
I'm sure cars behind me use to hate me when I did this, but when merging on the highway, I would go super slow for the first bit of the ramp so that there is lots of room in front of me, and then I would punch the throttle and merge when there was space
Can't do a new bike! Too much monies!
Yes. I'm the blue one.
TRICERATOPSSSSSSSSS!
No, I'm in Scarbrough.
lol, yeah, whats up with that comment?
Nope. I will take a look!
I will be buying used. Unless I win the lottery...
Um, those both look amazing!
The handle bars were lowered. I had planned on returning it to stock, I just never had the courage to take on that job myself.
Sounds good to me! I'll start researching a bit more.
Depends on the price...
The sport look isn't a must, but I would prefer it. Ideally, the bike would be black. Black goes with every colour! :)
I will have to look into that! Thanks!
Never heard of this one before. Will google it in a bit.
I do not off-road, yet. There is a trail near my cottage, I'd love to hit...
Gonna make this short and sweet for my A.D.D readers.
-Had a Ninja 650R, loved it, although it felt a bit heavy when turning tight corners, more than enough power for me.
-Seating position was a bit rougher on long rides to the cottage
-Got into a car accident, got shaken up and needed money to...
It is. But how often would I get to ride a motorcycle on the South of France? I'm just more concerned about the $1000 - $2000 (Euros) deposit they want for the bike?
Anyone do this before? Any cautions?
I'd like to rent a motorcycle if I have time in St. Raphael in France. I would love to ride along the coast and take some pictures along the way.
Anything I should know prior to committing to this?
2007.
Nice detective skills.
I also included a rear stand, oil and filter, original handle bars, original windscreen, fender eliminator kit. I forgot to give him the bike cover.
I was sad to see it go. But I had dropped it twice and I think the previous owner(s) had a more serious...
Unexpected stuff like this is rare. But it makes me rethink riding in the city. Too many boneheads out there.
