Not sure if this was posted anywhere else before.
I might look into getting one of these. Looks like they might work for summer and winter.

Only works for a couple of hours though. Perfect for my commute.
sigh. I miss parking on the boulevard. Was literally a hop skip and jump to work. I was tempted to point out the bylaw to the guy giving me a ticket when I saw him a couple of days later, but resisted the urge.
I didn't want to screw it up for the scoots as I see there being no added benefit...
Re: ATGATT - A poll, more or less
I see your point.
My question was more on how many people have switched their position based on arguments and counter arguments on this forum?

I didn't want to hijack the other thread due to the spirited back and forth going on there.

Good to know. In this situation it looks like the HTA 172 would've been the least of his worries; just an additional inconvenience considering everything else he would have to deal with.
You are right. If that's how you feel then go with your gut. you can always get rid of it with other beginners coming in. it is lighter and more nimble. If you outgrow it, you can always upgrade. I know someone who takes his cbr125 on the hwy, but doesn't mean that you have to ride hwys right...
