I think I'm going to do it. I'm just not "legally" enjoying my R6 as much as I used to a couple years ago. Being cramped, having sore wrists and back (even with breaks and squeezing the tank), insurance, and being in traffic (I really try not to be) are all signs that this incredible "racing"...
I always wave with a hand down/out or low peace sign (not sure why, just feels right lol). The only awkward time for waving is taking off from a stop sign/light and you both need to use your clutch hand so you do that "yes I see you, but I'm busy" nod:
Oh, I always thought newbies should be in the front so they don't feel the need to "keep up" and maybe my pace is too much for them even if I think I'm going "slow". You make good points though about the monkey see monkey do approach.

Yep, well the goal is to keep her in front so she sets the pace and I'll just check out the scenery ;)
Anyone have any experience with a Yamaha V Star 250? Would you recommend this to a beginner female rider? My only real concern is acceleration and not having enough power to get out of a situation. A ninja 300 / R3 are also being considered but the cruiser style is more her thing (short rider)...
