Cheap New Dual Sports - Which One Would You Buy?

It is completely the opposite. The wider tires make it terrible in mud, wet grass, sand......Maybe it helped in rocky terrain, but with such little power, and out dated spec, it was very under-whelming!

Cheap New Dual Sports - Which One Would You Buy?

Bang for buck, the Honda is the best of that group. Good road manners, good offroad, good power, and fuel injection. I've ridden all of these, aside from the suzuki, and the Honda puts them all to shame. Honda really did nail it with that bike. The 250 yammy would be second in my books. Of...

    Ridiculously stupid

If that dumb f*cker had of taken my bike out, I'd of taken his head off! Anyone who'd ride like that on public roads, drunk no less, needs a severe beatin'!

New motorcycle financing with not so great credit

How bad your credit is, will decide your interest rate, and possible down payment. You can ALWAYS get financing! Question is, when is it not beneficial. You can get a loan for pretty much anything, within reason, based on your income. If you make 30g's a year, and you want to finance a...

    Anyone here?

The thought of sharing the road with GTA drivers above the current limits, is terrifying! 1% of drivers in Canada could handle a car/bike at autobahn speeds. The other 99% are likely to kill you and I, and not themselves.....

    Transition Visors

I have the Bell Qualifier DLX helmet, and the visor is fantastic! It transitions pretty quickly, and gets dark enough for full sunshine, and clear enough for night riding. My only complaint is the helmet itself. I find it very noisy.

Where are the beat-to-hell dual sports?

Don't see too many beat to hell, street legal dualsports really. The guys I ride with, although we all beat the ***** out of our bikes, maintain them pretty well. Maybe try finding a non-street legal dirt bike, if you really want to not care about something. Easy to find something in a 250...

    Introduction to offroad riding

We could go out sometime in the evening during the week if you'd like. If you live fairly close to Acton, I could meet you in town at the Tim's, and we could go from there.

Hello GTAM'ers. My name is Jarrod. I'm sorta new to on road, sport riding, with my recent purchase of a Ducati Monster. I am however a veteran rider offroad. I'm offering to take new riders, interested in trail riding, out for a day, and giving them an intro to trail riding. Nothing heavy, just...

    Mounting an action cam

Mounting anywhere on your bike is fine. Mounted on your helmet is technically illegal, but I've never had an issue. See if you can get a chest mount. That gives a decent perspective.

Dirt and track courses for street riders

Don't get your panties in a twist. There are some legal places to ride on crown land close by. Not many, but a few. It is very true if go a little bit further north (Creemore area) you'll start to find tons of places to ride. Joining the ODSC is a great way to discover secret spots from the...
