If i had kids, they sure as hell wouldn't own an expensive smartphone! The only reason a kid needs a phone is for emergencies, or so i can call him and ask where he is, give him parental orders etc... Take the computer phone back, and exchange it for one of these...

And you get what you pay for. When i employed people, i had to pay them what i would expect, because i felt too guilty giving them less if they were good workers. I just had to trim the profits going into my pocket and hope for more volume.
