welcome! any leather gloves will do but as long as they cover above your wrist. when i did my m2, i wore Five RFX1 gloves. they're pretty inexpensive for first set of gloves and very comfortable. as for a neck brace, i don't personally ride with one, the most i do for neck is a balaclava, but...

here's my gear. really recommend good gear! my BIL had a tiny crash last year in a parkinglot, good thing he was wearing leathers. saved him from bad burns and broken bones. btw; i am wearing gloves... i was just putting them on. LOL

saw a dude riding a gsxr downtown yesterday lunch time. my buddy and i riding around downtown and saw you. you started pointing at us and had the biggest grin that i can see through your helmet. it's seeing people get exciting to see others ride.

Rosey Toes. will come to your house if you need it, but if you can bring it there, it would be cheaper. i know a few people who have dealt with roseytoes, and they said nothing but good things. i personally got mine done at the dealership, but it's a honda.

usually when the deal is about closed i ask for the VIN and i get the uvip myself. better to spend the $20 now and be sure than spend a few thousand dollars without the uvip and then find out after that there's a lien on it. rather take a chance on losing that $20 for uvip than losing a few...

Re: Spinal protection/injuries New rider here. This will be my second season. And I dress up from head to toe on a 2 piece leather suit, track boots, helmet, back protector and gloves. Even just to get gas around the corner. I love dressing like a power ranger.
