mine did not change. i did buy a new bike for this year so i was scared as well. but last fall, before any of the changes, i had inquired about changing from the 250 to a 600. the quote from last year to what i got when i changed just a few days ago, was the exact same amount.
maybe because we...
i'm insured by statefarm. when i was 28yrs old, 1 at fault accident, full g over 5 yrs, my 2011 cbr250r cost me $876 for the whole year. this is full coverage, laibilty + comprehensive + collision. now at 29yrs old, 1 at fault accident, full g over 5 years, my 2001 cbr600f4i cost me $1476 for...
i've seen these types of "sellers" before. they are complete scam. they will ask you to paypal your payment and then disappear. find locally. like someone said before, there are tonnes of 125/250's here in the gta/surrounding areas. anything with someone studying/working abroad is a scam. and...
Welcome!
I started a little late IMO, which was just in 2013 at the age of 27. I started out with a cbr250. half the people i spoke with told me not to start there. stating the fact that i would most likely get bored of it and it wouldn't do well for me when i go on the highway. the other half...
oh wow. that's a good cousin. LOL. usually the dainese size 50 somewhat translates to a medium.
i wear a dainese jacket as well and i believe that they are supposed to stop at the waist so that when you sit on the bike, it doesn't scrunch or bundle up and get annoying. also, if there is a...
Agreed. Statefarm actually sent me the schedule on which months charge the most and least. It makes perfect sense since 90% of the people here in Canada don't ride when it's winter time.
guilty of:
jeans in boots
rim tape (bought bike with it)
sunglasses but not really, i wear my prescription glasses under my tinted visor
do want iridium visor, probably when i get the new helmet for next year.
funny this is up, cause i love them both and i'm looking at both of them to replace my current helmet
but my vote is the rpha10 because it fits my head shape better. but the shoeirf1200 is a very nice looking helmet.
i'm currently using the rf1100, and i need a new helmet because Shoei really...
agreed with XenoVibes. usually most insurance companies check 3 things.
- age
- displacement of motorcycle
- location
since you're outside of Toronto, you won't have to worry. but having a 500cc and at age 22 will go against you. it doesn't matter if you took a course or not, it won't change...
for the people that asked:
can't just say you work for a company, due to the fact that we ask for employee ID# and work email minimum. which is, in my opinion, better. it would be unfair if people were receiving employee priced discount even if they aren't an employee. that's just some shady...

that's a hard call. first thing that would pop in my head was to stop the fight. but like what was previously stated, good samaritans usually get the rough end of the stick. i believe in 2 guys duking it out and then leaving it with the fight. shake hands and move on. but i don't agree with...
I find that same thing with my f4i. Got the stock exhaust and it sounds amazing when I'm accelerating, but when I'm cruising and rmp is at 3-5k, it's pretty quiet.
