To clean the visor I use a thin cloth and it works perfect. I never the take visor off - I just clean it with my hand inside the helmet.
Totally agree about the big top vent catching bugs - that is a bit of a pain.
I'm the same with modular's too - avoided them for the longest time, but now...
I currently have the GT Air 2, which I scored when they first came out for $600 brand new from a super deal. Previously had the GT Air and several Shoei's prior to that, so I do find that the Shoei's fit me really well.
I've never removed the visor on my GT-Air before or felt a need to, since...
I’m thinking about getting a new Shoei lid - either a Neotec or GTAir, because I want the internal sun visor and Shoei fits me great.
Is Chromeburner the best shop to buy from or one of the others?
I’ve never bought anything online from a euro store before.
Thanks!
I'll be going to this show and it will make a great Valentine's day gift from my wife to me:)
Looking forward to seeing and sitting on the 2025 Tracer GT, 2025 Suzuki GSXS-1000GTX and some other sport touring bikes. Need a new lid for her and looking at a new one for me.

I'm a bit of a gear slut and it was making my closet too full, so I sold a bunch off a couple years ago and now I feel so much better!

Toll fares don’t bug me either:)
Thanks!
Definitely for next summer (2026).
I think unlikely for 2025, only because I'm already doing a longer ride in the summer and the rest of my vacation and money (asides from going to Costa Rica this week) will be spent with my wife travelling.
I going through Smoky Mountain withdrawal, so it has...
Ok come with me the next time I go to Deals Gap and save 8 days for that trip - 3 days to ride down, 2 days riding around there and then 3 days home. They are long days, but absolutely incredible riding every single day.
I’ve used Michelin’s for the last several years but am going to try the Roadsmart 4’s as my next tire. Been reading many good things about them for longevity and handling.
When you rode to Utah on your FZ1, was that in the summer?
I’m a little leery of the Death Valley area and southern Utah at the end of August, even with a hydration knapsack and good gear.
I still have a pair somewhere:)
Just need to replace the broken wires, but I kept the earbuds.
I also love my Daytona boots and don't think I'll ever change.
I used to be a T6 guy, but now just use the red Motul juice, mostly because I like KoolAid.
For street tires, for the last several...
