    B'mer Obsessed - S1000R

What kind of fuel economy does the Tuono have? I get about 200 km per tank on my SV650. It can't be worse than that. I rode the S1000R at the Serpa demo day on Friday. The bike was amazing. The sales guy told me beforehand that he liked the bike and it's really smooth, almost too smooth. After...

Good shop in Mississauga to troubleshoot electrical?

I'll second frekeyguy! He's a great guy and does great work. C'mon, look who was the first to respond to your post! And he didn't even tell you to bring your bike to himself.

2014 Kawasaki Ninja 300 ABS SE

+1 Why do you want a 2014? You're not going to save money buying brand new.

A wild idea to protect bikes in a condo

If the door only opens if a fob is not present, then any thief who has an RF jammer to block anti-theft GPS transponders will also be able to block the Bluetooth signal. Wouldn't it be better if the fob *had* to be present to open the door? Then people can put it on their keychain. It's a...

THE MOST comfortable underwear for men EVER!

These are great! I've been wearing them for about two years now. They are great under my base layer when I'm wearing my leathers. Sail sells them. I think they're about $25 a pair there.

Where to buy 2-piece leathers for a female?

There's also Royal Distributing in Guelph and Ajax. If you go to Ajax, GP Bikes is a block away. If you haven't had any luck finding something off-the-shelf, then I second Velocity. I haven't bought anything from him, but I've heard good things. My wife is also very short and most pants she...

    High idle

A high idle could mean it's running lean. What happens when you open the choke when it's running high? Could try running some SeaFoam through it (available at CDN Tire).

Wendy's is really losing the plot. No mustard? WTF!

I love A&W as well. When I feel like making the drive, I'll go to South St. Burger. There's one at Argentia and Winston Churchill. It's owned by New York Fries. Burgers are amazing. I'll also go to Hero Burger in a pinch. I find The WORKS Burger to be way too greasy.

    Buffalo tire installation

Sorry, I just assumed you were talking about car tires. Why go to Buffalo? You can buy tires from http://www.petes-superbike.com/index.php and have Frekeyguy or Rosey Toes install them. If you want to buy local and install at the same place, try http://www.speedworxsuperbike.com/ or...

    Stubborn caliper piston

Does it move at all? Can you put the other piston back in, clamp it in place, then use compressed air to push out the stuck piston? If it's rusted, I'd apply a liberal amount of penetrant oil first. Maybe use a c-clamp to push it in a bit to free it. Do that very gently.

Ctek battery tender on sale @ CanadianTire

I've used a CTek for five years and it's been great. I also have a G1100 which I've just used for the first winter. I think the 1100 has all the features needed for a motorcycle battery. I haven't take. That battery out of storage yet but the readings all look good so I'm not anticipating any...

    National Motorcycle and Tattoo Show?????

This show generally has a lot of custom leather vendors. In my experience, there haven't been vendors like GP Bikes or Riders Choice at this show. This show is more for the Harley and cruiser crowd than the adventure or sport bike crowds.

    Anyone in R/C ?

I just watched a review of that heli. It looks like a good choice for a first helicopter. Stable, and the gyro feature is pretty cool.

    Anyone in R/C ?

I picked up the RealFlight 7 R/C sim a few months back. I decided to get some flying experience using that before I step up to a "real" heli. When I was a kid, I flew a biplane a bit, but I've never flown a heli. The sim has been a great experience, but it just isn't the same as the actual...
