Absolutely. There's zero reason whatsoever to buzz a stranger in their own lane doing double the speed they are... you're deliberately risking their life... could spook them so much they drop a log in their pants and lose control of their bike in extreme cases... could smash right into them...
seems like a knee-jerk reaction to the Yatim shooting.... cops are trained to draw their sidearm vs knife-wielding threats, not taser them... tasers effective range is well within the lethal kill zone of a knife... tasers miss quite frequently and they're a one shot deal... anyone who thinks...
also it seems if you enter or exit at speeds of 220+ you won't get caught, although I don't know first hand if this is true and wouldn't recommend trying it.... apparently, you can also ride the shoulder as close to the cement barrier on the right hand side and generally avoid getting caught...
just at entrances/exits
be aware that you can be pulled over and ticketed by OPP for having a plate placement that prohibits the toll cameras from capturing it
You know the term "gun control" doesn't necessarily = banning all types of weapons or stopping law-abiding citizens from obtaining firearms... a simple background-check should be the BARE minimum for the sale of any type of firearm, and even that has been found lacking in many instances.
Do...
LOL to all of this, I laughed even harder..
motorcycle cops dismounting and engaging in FOOT CHASES? Lack of money? Are you serious? Sounds like Blair has you eating out of his palm.... We have way too many police officers making way too much money.
lol, prepare for another bombardment of numbers and statistics and percentages because Canada is a fraction of the size of the US... I mean, c'mon, 12000 deaths a year is insignificant for a population of over 300 million!
I've had a jackass or two buzz me in my own lane on a clear and open 4 lane highway doing at least 100km/h faster than I (I don't ride slow either).... stuff like that makes me wish death upon fellow bikers, completely unwarranted, juvenile, and incredibly unsafe
I'd argue that cruisers with straight pipes are worse than crock rockets with obnoxious mufflers as GENERALLY (!) you have to be above 8000 RPMs for your crotch rocket to start getting insanely loud depending on the exhaust.... Even at idle straight pipes on a cruiser are crazy... A lot of it...
It depends.. if I'm out for a pleasure ride and I'm solo, I don't want people I don't know/trust riding any where near me. If I'm commuting (Vaughan-Guelph or Guelph-Vaughan), I don't mind someone else riding "spirited" with me to get off the 401 as fast as possible and onto the 407 where it's...
Any time an overly concerned driver tries to give me a lecture at a stop light, which admittedly hasn't happened in a long time, I would just point to my helmet and shrug... just pretending you can't hear them is more amusing to watch then flipping them the bird
He's stopped at a light and texting and you're wagging his finger at him? It's one thing to do it with your vehicle in motion but texting at a stop light is not different than fiddling with your radio or AC or scratching your balls. You must have felt like a real hero to save the day like that.
the author of the letter may have actually had a valid complaint in regards to noise.... she just went about voicing that complaint in a horrendous way that would garner absolutely no sympathy whatsoever. She could have just called by-law and reported this excessive noise that continued for...
And then let off on charges because its deemed "unlawful search" despite these guys having a documented history of gun charges and violent crime
the problem starts at the very top, our justice system and then goes all the way down to the streets
i've never understood the whole argument of "well knives are dangerous in the hands of a nut job"
and cars and motorcycles and sharp pointy sticks and bla bla bla
but in all of these silly examples, save the guns - their manufacture, their design, THEIR VERY REASON FOR EXISTENCE, was not to...
