Congrats, if you want to off road a lot consider changing the rubber foot pegs to steel, less slippery when wet, so safer when standing.

Sooner you start looking the better choice you will have. Some of the smaller clubs may also work for you, but they like participation in club events/maintainence, some make it a prerequisite. A wet slip will be cheaper than dockside, but you will need a tender. What kind of boat is it?

73 r90/6 and a wee head 84 I think, R45 both need a bit of tlc to get back out there, maybe this year...

Grand Budapest Hotel was fun, even has Dafoe as nasty biker dude...on an R12, with skis no less. You gotta like Wes Anderson's stuff though....not for everyone.
