I have to agree on the exhaust sound. I have a ninja 650 which is a twin but the inline 4 engines do sound much better to me. +1 on the vibration too.

I believe that is an infiltration gallery. Provides storage for rainwater to aid in infiltration into the ground to avoid loading the storm sewers. It still has an outlet to the storm sewer as there is only so much water that can infiltrate during a medium/high intensity storm.

I 2nd FZ-07 or FZ-09. Really good looking street fighter bike and sounds much better than a 650. I am not sure why you found a 650R uncomfortable on longer rides, as it has a more upright relaxed position.

I've been having this issue with a 2012 Ninja 650. When I let go of the bars, at speeds usually above 60 km/h, the handlebars shimmy left to right. Just like a speed wobble but very lightly. Mind you, sometimes it doesn't shimmy but then again on smooth perfectly paved roads it may shimmy again...

Sad. I recall an accident almost in the same location or at Sentinel Rd/ Finch Rd and few years back. Speeding driver in a BMW (no prejudice) rams into a van with a family in it.

DOT Approved is sufficient. Kapscomoto has cheap helmets, however how much do you value your head ? There are helmets that are $50 and others are $600+. Often you get what you pay for.

I got to ask, how often ? Some say every tank of gas (250-300km) other say every 500km. Not a huge difference but is there a magic number ? Also do you clean every time you lube ? I'd think it better to lube more often while doing a deep clean every 500km.
