Unfortunately you are correct. I think every man / woman I know has contemplated it. Hell I have over the years. But it’s a permanent solution to (typically) a temporary problem. I have my children and wife to think about and they keep me going through the roughest days and nights.

Sleeping in a car while drunk was always a potential DUI offence. My buddy got busted for that in the early 2000s and spent thousands going through the court system (and he won), but it was a very painful and expensive experience. Doesn't seem like a major change over previous iterations.
