Pay it forward (if you can)

i only donate to friends...pulling heart strings on kijiji is just poor taste...besides, plenty of people i've ridden with either show up in what they can scrounge at home or wear ski and snowboard gear until they get their riding gear of choice...meh, sell the bike, he's better off...

minivan cuts off bike in Windsor (Go-Pro)

a biker hassling a cager, way to give us a bad name...i guess in Windsor, "cutting-off" is a whole other meaning...who uses signals anymore anyways...it used to be in toronto we treat cars like pylons, now they just move, makes it more interesting...

    Biker wanted by police

they don't need a reason to do a crackdown...they'll tell you anything they want and you'll just have to take it and swallow it...this just gives them more of a reason...

    Hit by train

i used to cross the go train bridge in port credit to get the train station rather than going down to lakeshore to cross at the road bridge...sometimes you're running your butt off cuz the train is right behind you...yes, had some close calls...had a friend lose an ear when he got clipped...

    Rider hit by pickup

toronto doesn't need stricter laws on these types of accidents, at least not to prevent them, it needs them for the funding to get people better educated in driving a vehicle and we need tougher tests for people to have to pass...get well rider, it was a tough hit...

    solo bump start

last year i bump started my bike for a few months cuz the battery would only ever hold enough charge to prime the FI pump...2nd gear, get a good jog up, drop clutch and it would catch either 1st or 2nd try...some of the folks on here were nice enough to hold up traffic for me a few times so i...

Groaning noise from front after lowside

if it's constant then sounds like brakes...either the pad is pressing against the rotor too much, or maybe the rotor the way it's mounted got bent so it's pushing against the pad...the rotor might be fine and straight, but might need to be straightened...i am no bike mechanic by a long stretch...
