last year i bump started my bike for a few months cuz the battery would only ever hold enough charge to prime the FI pump...2nd gear, get a good jog up, drop clutch and it would catch either 1st or 2nd try...some of the folks on here were nice enough to hold up traffic for me a few times so i got a good run up down the street...i would run beside it, once it caught, pull clutch back in and give it a little throttle and let the bike warm up...can one bump start a completely dead battery when the bike has FI?
