    Gaspe 2024

I'd be up for it if it's the week of Aug 5, I have that entire week off.

Used Tire Disposal as of 2024?

Where? I can't find it. My local CT won't accept either tires or oil. Another CT a bit further away does.

How much mileage is too much mileage?

Aren't maintenance records easily faked? Anyone could scribble a bunch of stuff in a notebook and print off some fake receipts.

Inexpensive option for a quality dashcam

I had a dash cam on every car I had (up until my tesla which doesn't need it) and I would always wire it into the fuse box. It's much cleaner than having wires hanging down to your 12v outlet. Just find a fuse that is switched (only on when the car is on) and use a fuse tap. It doesn't take long...

    Did you exercise today?

It would probably help to decompress your spine. Doing pullups is great or even just hang off something. Here's a video with a great explanation:

    Did you exercise today?

Would a mini stepper meet those needs? They seem to be much cheaper too.

Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

If another tesla was following that tesla, I wonder if its autopilot would be fooled by the reflections off it.

    Bluetooth, where to start!

If you're in the barrie area I'll sell you my Cardo Spirit for $40. Bought it last year, thought I'd like listening to music or podcasts while riding, but I don't.

    My trip across 403, 401, 427, Gardiner and Queen's.

I would guess (I have no proof) that the 400 series roads are the most dangerous for riders, especially in the GTA where they are the most congested.

Can't park at my building, need help looking for house indoor private garage parking spot

I guess it would depend on where you use that particular thing. If it's something you use at home, then of course you're unlikely to drive to the storage locker, pick it up, and bring it back home to use. But if you're going that way anyway, for example to ride north/east of the city, then it...

Can't park at my building, need help looking for house indoor private garage parking spot

If I lived in a condo in toronto, I'd probably rent storage in some rural area near orillia or peterborough or something, then drive to it when I wanted to ride, since all my rides would be north or east. Probably much cheaper. How much does a storage big enough to fit a bike cost these days?

    Help with bicycle purchase

Since there's some bike experts here, I thought I'd ask: I got a Norco Scrambler I bought for $500 in 2008. Specifically this: 2008 Norco SCRAMBLER – Specs, Comparisons, Reviews – 99 Spokes What is it lacking compared to mountain bikes in the same class (entry level hard tail) being built...

Where do you guys go for new tires?

I've bought tires from fortnine, pete's superbike, and revco. I always mount the front one myself. The rear one takes me like 5 hours so I've stopped mounting them myself and take it in to one of the local shops who will do it for $40-50.

Cardo Spirit headset $108, no HST - GP Bikes

I have this and maybe I just haven't found the right settings, but I can't get it loud enough for my liking. Might need to upgrade to better speakers.
