    Rob's wife sues Doug

Nthing to do with Conservatives demonstrated ability to always shoot themselves in the foot, obviously. This is what the Ford clown show is all about. Buckle up for the next four years.

    Rob's wife sues Doug

It's obviously both. It's a reputable law firm, they wouldn't draw up a sham suit just to extort him. But they're certainly trying to turn popular opinion against him for the sake of expediting their claim. Those are pretty straightforward observations. The less obvious one is how much of...

    Rob's wife sues Doug

I can see how as the executor, Doug might have resisted passing down Rob's estate to Renata out of concern that she'd waste it on her dependencies. If that's the story then the question is if that's a legitimate reason for withholding someone's inheritance. Anyone know?

    Passwords /ID

Exactly. I use Enpass. One very difficult password is easy to remember, and it unlocks all the others for your eyes only. For elderly with memory problems, can use biometrics to unlock them all.

    First Look@ Yamaha Niken

Maybe somebody from Yamaha musical instruments ended up in the wrong design office and never knew it?

Wow, better than a winning lottery ticket. Glad to hear it you're OK. But that can't be the end of the story?

    Unmarked Police Vehicles

Unmarked cruiser for undercover work? No. Those vehicles aren't interchangable. The best the cops could do is get the vehicle info from 407, they'd still have to catch the offender in the act. So they might do it for a repeat offender, especially an aggressive one. But everyone speeds at least...

    Unmarked Police Vehicles

Sure, some laws are just there to pander to the electorate, but most are legit. Just as some uses of unmarked cop cars are just for revenue generation, but most are legit. Given all the videos people like to share here of drivers committing infractions and generally being turds on the roads...

    Unmarked Police Vehicles

The only way that makes sense is if you think laws are for revenue generation, they serve no other purpose. Because cops can only enforce the law.

What's a Sanctuary Province and how much does it cost?

So when Scuba Steve complains about having to hike wages to attract the same quality of worker even though he already pays them more than min wage, are you saying he doesn't know what he's doing? And do you think the labour market doesn't work? Or it doesn't exist? Because when markets work...

What's a Sanctuary Province and how much does it cost?

Their spending power remains the same if a product's cost is made of 100% minimum wage labour. I don't think any such product exists, or anything close to it. A min wage hike is a substantial benefit to min wage earners. As for people like you, you benefit from a society with less need for...

Are you worried about the debt?

I can answer those questions based on my pre-existing understanding of the economy. Not surprisingly, those answers will validate that pre-existing understanding they're based off. If I want to use those questions to challenge and perhaps correct those existing assumptions and uncover the truth...

What's a Sanctuary Province and how much does it cost?

Yes! That's been my big concern with the min wage increase all along. It needed to be implemented more gradually for exactly that reason. But for middle and high income earners prices will always be proportionally higher than salary due to higher min wage. It's just that we should have a...

What's a Sanctuary Province and how much does it cost?

It will take time for the upward pressure on salaries to have an effect, and it'll have a no measurable effect to those earning middle to high wages. But the bottom will be pushed up. That's just how the labour market works.

What's a Sanctuary Province and how much does it cost?

That's how min wages work. It doesn't just set a floor for the lowest paying jobs, it increases the wages for those whose labour is worth more than the minimum. It pushes the whole bottom up. It's not a bug, it's a feature.

Are you worried about the debt?

Just as it's impossible to draw conclusions from a list of companies who've left Ontario, so is it impossible to draw conclusions from a list of questions. Unless you're RockerGuy, then they make you depressed and sad. I'm sure you have a valid point to make at some level but you're completely...

What's a Sanctuary Province and how much does it cost?

In post 5 you disagreed with the definition of 'sanctuary cities' posted by JavaFan. That definition included emergency services, not cancer treatment. That means you disagreed that refugees should be provided emergency services, and it means you're the only one who mentioned cancer treatment...

What's a Sanctuary Province and how much does it cost?

Yet that's what you're arguing against; emergency care. "we will never withhold basic life-saving services from undocumented people" You seem to think this is about things like cancer treatment. No one said refugees would get cancer treatment! Having said that, I'm not sure why holding them...

Water Softeners... Best One Out There?

You guys make it sound like it's no different from buying an extension cord. You plug one end into the feed, the other end to the output, and there's your soft water. From the brief research I did, there are a lot more variables depending on the exact problem with the water, how much...

While I believe manufacturing has shrunk from it's former glory, that list doesn't reveal anything. Companies come and go all the time.
