I'll give that a try on the side. I'm always experimenting with places to mount it. Worst place I tried so far was mounting it on the front turn signal stalk. Way too much wobble.

you can get the "Skeleton housing" which has all the ports exposed. Would allow charging while shooting, as well as external mic but would sacrifice the water resistance of the waterproof housing.

the JVC featureset seems great! My main complaint about the GoPro is that you can't have the LCD *AND* WiFi at the same time, until they get around to releasing the app (which keeps getting delayed and stripped of features...)

I love my GoPro HD Hero 2. I prefer to mount it on the bike rather than the helmet though. I find the fov from the helmet is just too high up. Sent from spaaaaace!
