I would rather buy used branded gear from Kijiji than brand new knockoffs. Bought a jacket with foam "armours" from motorcycle expo for 60$. Didn't last me one season.

Really? Did something change recently, I don't pay a lot for mine. Mine has been insured last season and I am paying close to 800 per year I think.
