It’s been a bit of a **** show. The residents on Wolf Island are getting older too and every week an ambulance seems to be needed. They take priority and throw the ferry schedule out of whack with even more complaints from residents.

One of the last times I was on the ferry they had engine trouble halfway. We ended up drifting a fair bit in the lake. I called my wife from the boat and told her I might be a while. It was very relaxing.

It definitely is way more scenic and way more relaxing. Cape Vincent is a nice place to disembark too. There’s a really nice picturesque lighthouse a minute or two away down the lake shore and some historic battlefield monuments nearby. All the lakeside towns have good dining options too...

I really enjoy pottering about with plants. I’m wondering if a little side hustle selling plants on marketplace would actually make anything? If I can propagate the pitcher plants I think that would be good as there aren’t that many places to buy them nearby.

Have you seen the price of sunrooms? We were thinking about doing something similar but I may well add a larger “greenhouse” that just happens to connect to the house instead.

I think that’s what I used to attach some stuff a while back. Practice on some scrap first.
