Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

You are welcome to try the equinox a fwd is around 35k new. Ours is AWD and fully loaded and was 45 plus tax after having supercruise I would definitely get it again it is so nice to just sit back hands free on the 401 in traffic. Sent from my Pixel 10 using Tapatalk

You can get the pion charger and get 10c back per kwh making off peak charging free. I have 2 one for each vehicle currently at 400 dollars which is also what my charging cost would be since March. We were using approx 130 liters a week in fuel before the getting the equinox, huge savings even...

Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

Yes that is the biggest problem ev are not realistic without home charging. Without the full charge every morning EV just doesn't work. If you have home charging they are great choice. Without I would strongly recommend against until condos and apartments have charging EVs are not realistic for...

Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

I have personally never had a issue finding a working charger as the car lets you know if they are working and how many are in use. The stupid app thing is a different story as they all have their own app. It is getting better as a lot are just going to tap and pay. I also rarely use public...

Just plug it in. There is no reason for it to ever die so many charging stations around way more than gas stations. Look at the plug share map you will probably be surprised at just how many chargers there are. Sent from my Pixel 10 using Tapatalk

Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

I still drive the Volt to work everyday it has just enough battery range to make it there and back if I am doing extra I charge at work. Would much prefer something fully battery at this point but it is fully paid off and costs nothing and is not really worth anything. My wife has the equinox ev...

We have supercruise it does very well on rural Rds and highway. Doesn't work in cities and requires you to drive at lights and stops signs etc. it is nicer that it is fully hands free when engaged the Tesla requires you to have a hand on the wheel. Sent from my Pixel 10 using Tapatalk

We have a ev and a PHEV it was the plug in that convinced me to go full ev. The hybrid just introduces 2x as many things to break and if it just had a bigger battery there would be no need for the engine. Sent from my Pixel 10 using Tapatalk

Fair enough if you use it for truck things in the bed or drive more than 400 km daily and don't have 15 minutes to charge. Sent from my Pixel 10 using Tapatalk

Here is what my car suggests for the trip if it works is up to you. This is a equinox ev you could charge longer in napanne if you wanted more charge when you get to Toronto. Sent from my Pixel 10 using Tapatalk

Honestly forgot the hybrid or PHEV after having a full ev you will never go back. Unless you drive more than 400 kms daily and don't have 30 minutes to charge there is no comparison. The convenience of never buying gas is one of the best things. Sent from my Pixel 10 using Tapatalk

The new lawn tractors are junk.

Look for a welded deck square corners not a stamped one. I have a 30 plus year old toro and a 40 year old ferris I use here. The deck on the ferris is needing some repairs. Not going to spend 20 g plus for a new one. Sent from my Pixel 10 using Tapatalk
