Where was this.I saw that on FB yesterday. Too many people commenting that the rider probably deserved it.I don't care what the hell happened before the camera started rolling, this is never justified. The rider should have stopped on the shoulder when he was behind the car and let that crazy moron continue on their way. You should never get into a pissing match on the highway, particularly when you are on your bike.
I agree with letting the car disappear. Outracing it would mean watching out for him catching up.
