Springtime. Time to have my reserve repacked. Ohh crap! My AAD (automatic activation device) is at the end of it's life. (15yr) Ordered a new one, arrived today.$2269.
Warning.... Jumping out of planes ain't cheap.

How often does it need to be repacked??

I have yet to find a fun hobby that is cheap.
 
Crazy day saturday.No wind....west wind....east wind....oh ****! downwind.Hard landing,broken camera mount,thought i broke my arm,just bruised.Followed a red tail hawk for a bit.You can just see it at 6min 30sec over the house across from the dz.

Amazing video, you make it look easy.

I do about 20 flights a month in small planes, I’ve never had the urge (courage?) to exit while they are moving.

The young girl across from me did her first tandem. She said the parachute ride was fun. The skydive….. she passed out.
 
Airborne airborne where ya been, out on a mission going back again.
if I die in the ol drop zone box me up and send home
if I die on the russian front bury with a russian......
