Yes people, it's that time of the year again, will we have a early spring, and more importantly a start to the riding season!

Let's see what the fur ball tells us.
Nothing scientific, just for fun, annnnnnddd.. it's not political!

So far this is looking promising




Last year I was able to get out around Mar 10, 2025, so about a month from now.

Around here a groundhog would need a ladder to get his head above the snow, so what's the call?

During peak sow a rabbit cut across the back yard but all I could see was its head popping through the snow very foot or so, like a porpoise.

FWIW I tried snowshoeing for the first time yesterday. Not a lot of fun.

I've only done snowshoeing 1 time, it was fun for me. Even when I didn't have the best shoes on.
You didn't have poles?
