Yes people, it's that time of the year again, will we have a early spring, and more importantly a start to the riding season!

Let's see what the fur ball tells us.
Nothing scientific, just for fun, annnnnnddd.. it's not political!

So far this is looking promising

Last year I was able to get out around Mar 10, 2025, so about a month from now.

Around here a groundhog would need a ladder to get his head above the snow, so what's the call?

During peak sow a rabbit cut across the back yard but all I could see was its head popping through the snow very foot or so, like a porpoise.

FWIW I tried snowshoeing for the first time yesterday. Not a lot of fun.

I've only done snowshoeing 1 time, it was fun for me. Even when I didn't have the best shoes on.
You didn't have poles?

Weather forecast, Fred Marmotte, WiartonWillie , and ShubenacadieSam have predicted an early spring!
Only Punxsutawney Phil disagreed.
Time to dust off the bike?
😄

Looking at options now.
Like the other fellow said - trade it in.

That's what I did in November with my KTM 1090R. GP had a new 2024 GasGas 700 so I inquired as to trade-in value on my 1090. The number they gave me was only about $500 less than they were listed for on Facebook and Kijiji for in Quebec so I jumped at it.

I didn't think the market for a 1090 would be getting any stronger in the spring, and the GasGas was already discounted about $3500 so I made the deal.

I only got 12km on the new bike before winter came.
