We Know you Ride, But do you Shoot?

SIU cleared the case.
Civil suit launched and making its way through the courts.
Send a hit squad out of territory, don't notify the locals, setup a confrontation and assassinate a guy and there are no criminal charges warranted. Why do we bother to waste money on SIU? It would be cheaper to rubber stamp paperwork and the outcome would rarely be different.

That setup warrants no criminal charges because stupid is not a crime .
Now should some folks up the ladder get a black spot on their record ? Yup . Will anything likely happen? Nope . You set up a raid WELL outside your jurisdiction, don’t advise the locals because they may be ‘in on it’ , kick a door in at a gun shop where you are “surprised “ to find a gunsmith holding a weapon and shoot him because while your yelling drop the weapon he has no clue WTF is happening, are you actually robbers ? Cops? Bike gang hitmen? This clown show was botched from the initial paperwork and is so much an everyday occurrence for not just TO Police . Family has multiple suits filed , the customer on site has a suit filed , it’s in the multi millions. Guess who pays that bill? Yeah , us again.

'Unless Roger was fooling EVERYBODY and leading some kind of double life... The situation birthed by TPS was a complete sh_it show.
All they'd have to do is call him and he would have had the coffee on for a meeting/inspection.
Or... meet up with him any Tuesday Evening at BRRC.

Rodger's brother did an interview...

They do get it. They are almost invincible. Code of conduct and law say one thing, in practice, the only major foible is public egg on face that can't be blamed on outside factors. Even that barely warrants a response. When it's been well known that a house cleaning is needed for decades and it never happens, the message is clear.

I only watched the first few minutes until the narrator says Kotenko sold the 2 customized guns to a "mystery buyer" who then sold it on the black market. Didn't Kotenko need to idenitfy the buyer by checking their ID/license before selling?

The whole thing is a dogs breakfast and TPS missed very few opportunities to take the wrong path at every turn. Why would anyone take an expensive kotenko gun, file the serial number and sell it as a street gun? I doubt the street value is much above a Taurus bought at walmart.

While we will never get a thorough independent review, given the level of depravity shown by TPS, I highly suspect a dirty cop was feeling the world close in and made up stories and assassinated him to keep things under wraps. Even incompetence/gross negligence can't explain the actions of TPS.

If you listened further you would have heard why the buyer is a mystery...
'Brother alleges TPS is covering up.
They have the records.

I've bought a firearm from Rodger... He followed the law to the letter.
I witnessed Rodger school Halton police when they suggested he take custody of a guy's pistol after the guy was taken from the range to hospital... regulations had changed... HRPS wasn't aware.

He knew the law/regulations and i can't see him jeopardizing his business for a few hundred dollars by selling a couple of guns under the table.... 'Something a licensed dealer can't really do anyway without getting caught.
