Was just ok, some of the action scenes felt a bit self indulgent, and scenes ran longer then needed, definitely a swan song to wrap up the series. The whole end sequence felt like something we'd seen in a previous movie, like literally another MI movie. The bi planes were cool though.

Is it streaming now (streaming + torrent enabled)?

Ya. Found a 4K 5.1 Atmos file @ 19 GB. That'll work.

I've seen it before but watching it near field with the HDR10 + on the new big screen is a real treat.

Love the cast but never found a clean version without a lot of grain.
Still great movie
Weitz has a very cute ass :sneaky:

Superman 2025.

Gave it a shot, couldn't finish it. Gave up just before the third act.

Just boring, and the tone is all over the place, from cartoonish to sorta silly. The plot is so thin and obvious, which could be fine, but everything out of the plot happens instantly, lots of little actions going on, but they amount to not a whole lot of nothing. There is no build up, and too many convenient elements to push the speed of things. Also this version of Superman feels kinda dumb, I believe it's on purpose to help us grow with the character through the movie. I just think it's a wrong approach as we are inserted into the movie with some prior knowledge of who Superman is, with no intro to who he is in this movie. When the tone of the movie dials it down things feel off, like the interview with Lois and Clark, the dialogue is just atrocious, and the moment with Pa, fell very short. Lex is okish, but still not great.

It's certainly better then the Zach Synder, brooding and dark Superman, but not by much. I'm a fan of Superman Returns, which I think is under rated, and fits nicely with the original movie of the 70's which is still the best version of Superman.

I really should not read about man-eaters before bed....had the first legit nightmare in years.
Lucky I didn't watch the movie....here's a freebie to watch the whole thing

Sharing the scare....:D

I watched the latest Superman movie with a friend on Friday. Movie was bright and colourful going opposite on the dark and gritty Snyder version. The movie itself was nonsense in story telling in my opinion. I really wanted to like this movie before I saw it, hoping that a fresh take on Superman would make it fun and enjoyable, but like so many do now, they ignore anything making sense. I like the guy who played Superman. Lois Lane was ok, definitely better than Amy Addams. I am sure some will like it. Might be my age being mid 40's that I now want something of substance in what I consume for movies, tv, music and art in general.

I watched the second part of the final MI movie. It wasn't as good as the first half but I still enjoyed it.

I'm part way through The Electric State and enjoying it.

I felt like I had just watched some stuntman's CV video. The "bad guy" being portrayed as some kind of nebulous entity like V'Ger from Star Trek - the Motion Picture (or one of the original series' Creature of the Week) didn't help.

Probably one of the better summer big movies of the year. Didn't try to be more then itself, and the story is nothing new, who doesn't like to see someone get a second chance. Some stuff didn't work or felt odd, but as a whole it's worth a watch.

Lol it did come to mind, or Top Gun Maverick in cars.

Reality? “Sonny Hayes” would have had 15 points on his Super Licence and been suspended for at least one race by the 30 minute mark.

Probably, I don't know enough about the rules of F1 but they alluded to stuff like that.

Thursday Murder Club on Netflix.

The cast is Ben Kingsley, Helen Mirren, Pierce Brosnan and more.

Should be amazing with that cast right?

Wrong. It's utter shite.

Netflix do better.
