The OP's original post has links that are clearer. You're a hybrid driver with a novice licence (M2) .... subject to the same penalties as someone with only a G1/G2 or M1/M2 ... when you get your infraction on your bike.

Did you get all or most of the points in the car ... if so that's probably why. My understanding is it's the infractions on the bike (M1/M2) you worry about for the novice penaltiies.
