I've been commuting from Highland Creek (Scarborough) to downtown T.O for around 10 years, mostly year round, late into December till first heavy snow fall and in the last few years have even been riding a few times in Jan, Feb March. It gets me out of bed with something to look forward to...

That's what I'm thinking but can't find anything in the $1000 range, cheapest is TD Meloche Monnex and that too with my wife being a TD employee they offered $1,178, and if I leave Pembridge now I have to pay $350 penalty so basically wiping out the savings, and TD's quote is for until Feb 2020...

Your location helping you on this one, I was talking to a TD rep, he said Scarborough is higher rated area therefore we pay more, we are the Bronx of Toronto :( Still I wish I can find something in the $1000 range or cheaper

I've been commuting all year, with on and off days in Jan- Feb, what made this year easier is the heated glove liners I bought in January which lets me ride till -7. My commute in rush hour from U of T campus in Scarborough to Downtown is around an hour, and these gloves keep my fingers warm...

Yep I believe it's the Conroy one that I've been eyeing...I know it's a thin leather jacket, but it's more for street wear I'm looking for, and as bad as it seems, in the summer I'm usually riding squid anyways.
