I adored my v-star 250, but be aware it is not highway capable and even a couple hours at 90 is pretty taxing. The r3 is highway capable and with a seat upgrade can be ridden for a pretty long time. Just my opinion having owned both.

Hey guys,
So I just wanted to look into something that I was told while at my riders training class.
Understandably there is a 0 blood alcohol level rule with an M2 license, however with a G license and being over 21, you have the standard .05/.08 rule. During my riders training though I was...
2 Years ago this weekend I took my training course, 15 degree days and tons of sun
Last year I rode 200km one way to a friends around the same time, a little chilly but no snow.
Regardless, go to hell winter lol
Just like when you buy any vehicle you need to have it certified as fit for the road. It has to have been inspected by a licensed mechanic and have been signed off as safe. It's an official government paper. Just because it's on the road does not mean it's safe. The safeties are good for 30...

Thanks for the welcomes guys! I didn't see these replies until just now. I ended up buying a 2015 R3. 500km on it! I'll be sure to post some pictures asap.
I didn't make it down, however I was speaking to a guy at a Tim's here and he said he rode out expecting to be the only one, but ended up running into like 30 other riders!
Right? I understand that there's risk in riding in the cold, but in all reality there's risk riding in the summer too. There's currently no snow in sight where I am, and the main roads are relatively clean.
Would I go track riding right now? No, of course not, but putting across town? why not...
Who would be at fault here do you think? I mean obviously the woman should pay more attention, but at the same time she was crossing with the light, so wouldn't she have the right of way?
