sorry to revive an old thread but im in the same boat now. 04 r6. wawanesa is saying any bike more than 10 years old needs to be appraised. op, were you able to find a place and do they need the full report or just a certificate?
commuting to work on a bike can be a pain. for me it takes longer than hopping in the cage because i gear up, take cover off bike, take chain off. the positive side is after work i can ride as far as my tank will get me. great way to unwind after a hard day.
^This. driver education/skill is the biggest problem. cars naturally travel at 120 on the highways already until that idiot who is about to miss their exit makes 3 lane sudden lane changes to the right so they can make it and forces everyone behind them to brake.
did a trip there yesterday. ridge rd was nice, and we hit king st as well. there are a couple turns with gravel on the road though. once there does anyone know if bikes have free street parking? googled it but couldnt find an answer.
passed my test today just before it started to pour at downsview. The earbud they use does not go into the canal and they sanitize it before giving to you. It is taped to your ear but I felt it coming loose as I started the test. As the ride continued I just focused on the road and forgot about...
+1. i have an 04 r6 now and i test rode the fz8. the difference in seating position is insane. i love my r6 but after a while riding i find myself hoping for a red light so i can stretch my back out a bit. the fz8 i can ride all day.
thats exactly my point. im not a huge germaphobe, though this thread is making me appear to be one. this is a public health issue though. the guvment budgeted for hand sanitizer in every building, im just saying they can get disposable tips for ear buds.
Ill be doing it at downsview park. I know people who have done it at VP and Lawrence that used the in ear buds.
