If there wasn’t a lockdown I’d be able to test ride the triumph and compare it to my experience on the CB650R, but unfortunately that scene is gridlocked by the current lockdowns. That’s ideally what I’d like to do.

I don’t think kijiji people are evil. Painting everyone with the same brush is slightly presumptuous especially since most people who are replying to the thread seem to think they buy and sell fairly. That tells us that not everybody is evil. Does this make sense?
Rev matching while downshifting is usually required. I find going from 6 -> 5 doesn’t feel like it needs any sort of throttle input. The other gears definitely need throttle input if you’re downshifting from high speeds like when you’re exiting the freeway.
