    Where to get a puppy?

You've met my dog - I never take him off leash in the neighbourhood because although he is very loyal and will stay near me, I don't trust him one bit to not take off and explore or get hit by a car. I do think he would be much better off leash if we were allowed to take him off leash from a...

The Toronto Motorcycle and Powersport Show - Feb 20-22 @ Exhibition Place

https://motocanada.com/shows/toronto/ Didn't see a post about this one yet and looking forward to going. The exhibitor list hasn't been released yet, but hoping a good selection of the manufacturer's represent. Last year I grabbed custom earplugs from Ontario Hearing Protection and they are...

    Cuba...

I loved Cuba. And I liked the food! The people were kind and generous. Havana was really interesting. The only thing I didn’t like was my helmet which had a thick crack down the entire centre of the lid. It was so deep, I could pull the helmet apart into two. But I was wearing a tank top...

    COVID and the housing market

I really like the condo we have next to Fort York. It's a nice building and will always be a magnet for being rented out because it's one of the older buildings in the area, but not too old. Mortgage is very little and we have a great long term tenant who in turn pays cheap rent. Maint fee is...

    KLR Hwy tires

I’ve only ever run stock tire sizes on any of the bikes I’ve owned. A question like that I would check on the KLR forum to see what real world feedback is. I’m sure people have either asked about it there or done it. https://www.klr650.net/forums/

    KLR Hwy tires

Metzler Marathon ME880's are very long lasting hwy tires. I rode with them on my KLR for one season. I found them a bit hard for cornering, but they were great mile munchers.

    Travel visa Aussie/New Zealand

A cruise around New Zealand? That sounds interesting and a pretty neat trip overall. Out of all the countries I've visited, New Zealand is the only one I've ever felt I could permanently move to. Have a great trip.

    Travel visa Aussie/New Zealand

Been to both before visa prices went up. I'd happily go back to both and pay the higher visa prices - they are great countries to visit. But that's a long flight for 7 days of travel, so hope you are visiting other places to or from.

    Did you exercise today?

Agreed. And every time I run downhill - even short distances, I destroy a toenail. I expect nothing less on this. Lot's of yoga, lunges and hill repeats in my near future.

    Did you exercise today?

Heading to Peru in early April and doing the 4 day Inca Trail Hike. Need to start getting my cardio back and legs in shape:)

    Metal Roofing?

I have a metal roof and love it. The metal tiles look like a stone or slate from a distance and have a slight texture on them that makes it easier to walk on. I’m sure we have the paperwork somewhere that has the type of tiles we used the vendor who instalment it - can’t recall right now. The...
