What's the weakest link in stopping you from riding longer?

I had them on a previous bike and they kept their form for the 3 years and 90k I put on that bike. I used them on a KLR which I found too buzzy in the handlebars for highway riding. I also parked that bike outdoors with a cover on it only in the winter months.

Fav spots to stop for a quick bite during a ride?

Great thread! I have so many more, but will just leave these spots that I try to hit up each year. Calabogie (Barnet Park) - had a public washroom, picnic tables and overlooks the Calabogie Peaks resort. You could go swimming here if you wanted to. Barnet Park - Calabogie Barrys Bay (Crooked...

What's the weakest link in stopping you from riding longer?

Guy I work with had extremely bad carpal tunnel in both wrists. He had surgery on one hand last year and was told the recovery was going to be 6-8 weeks and he said he felt really good after 6 weeks. He just went under the knife for the other hand a couple weeks ago and said same thing - the...

I was on Lower Faraday on Sunday and it was amazing - so much fun and aesthetically surreal in some spots.

Calabogie Ride - Sunday Aug 31

Yes they were and some of them in really nice shape. I had never been on those roads before and they were fun. Some had lower speed limits and went though smaller towns, but they were much more pleasant than taking the 401 all the way to the Kingston area.

    Best Ride Eva!!!

Led a small group of guys I had never ridden with for a good lunch at the Redneck Bistro in Calabogie around 1000km rounds trip from home. The bikes were an '02 Concours, a '17 FJR, a '21 FJR and me on my '02 FZ1. The weather was perfect, the food and company great and there were some very nice...

Calabogie Ride - Sunday Aug 31

I still haven't made it up to the Redneck Bistro, so riding over for lunch this coming Sunday. It looks to be beautiful out with 25deg and pure sun. Small group of experienced riders only, since this has a fair amount of twisty and hilly roads. Should be around 1000km round trip from...

    Best Ride Eva!!!

I agree - sounds like we have no other choice, but to hit up both spots in one day. Here's the most direct route. If we add some fun roads, then it will become a proper ride. https://maps.app.goo.gl/xajEzKokkcsCa42n7 I think the food truck is only open til around Labour Day, so time is a tickin.
