so I bought a brand new bike from Kahuna...

Norm is a good guy. I know him well. He was very helpful when I was shopping for a bike and when I ended up going with another dealer (since they don't carry BMW), he didn't mind at all and was very supportive. The only experience I had with the service department was horrible. They sent me home...

    Selling powerful bikes to noobs...

Minor correction: Not a Tesla. It's a Fisker Karma. Both electric (I think the Fisker might have a little combustion motor for charging...too lazy to google it... :)

    Accident at yonge/Gerrard st

Anyone familiar with downtown T.O. would be skeptical of a 120 km/he report. Maybe between 2 am and 430 am on a Sunday. Otherwise, too much traffic to allow it to happen.Stupid cages. Get a real SUV...like a V-Strom/Tiger or GSAdventure.

    BMW owners movement!

Yeah, it's a looker...the one they had in the Burt Orange at the bike show in Dec. was the highlight/discovery of the day for both me and my buddy. Prob. one of the better values for your money as far as BMW goes. It just seemed like it would so comfortable but the layout allowed for varying...

    Selling powerful bikes to noobs...

If it's the absolute first bike, the tamer the better. There is so much for a new rider's brain to be learning without having to deal with excess torque and power. A noobie will almost certainly make mistakes...that's part of learning...needs a bike where such errors are less likely to be...

    BMW owners movement!

Hi everyone. I just got my first beemer (HP4) this side of the pond (I got an old K100 I keep in Germany for touring around there). The Sertao and F800ST are excellent for what they are made for and very versatile. I was toying with an F800ST for a daily driver, but having always wanted a...

    Greetings from downtown Toronto

Hi everyone...been a member since last year but never introduced myself. Been riding since I was seventeen and had a bike before I had my own car. Two accidents...both on that first bike...second one totaled it. I was young enough that I bounced not broke. I remember I was more concerned about...

    Any Canadain/American Vendors Selling These?

These are excellent build quality but too expensive for the average biker. Motomfg does a similar one but it was designed with Ducatis in mine...I have seen anecdotal posts about the plates being a bit testy on other makes as well as balancing being quite sensitive to adjustment. I am leaning...

Walked in to the parking lot to a dropped bike! =(

I feel for you man. I once came out to my bike after a long day; pretty much the only vehicle left in the lot. I get on and go to shift...something feels funny...I look down and my shift lever is bent and then I realize she's been dumped on her side and then someone stood her up again...I think...

    Blue Streak Racing is BOSS

Yep...great selection and best prices in Ontario, maybe Canada. Nice to see someone is finally reflecting our dollar being on par with the US greenback. I'm about to place an order...hope the service measures up to everything else...I'm in no rush (within reason), as long as I get what I pay for.
