Riding at night is a whole other animal -- the standard headlight on my 2007 GS500F didn't illuminate enough of the road ahead to get set up for corners, at the speed I have so far been hitting...
I picked up a ballistic nylon Joe Rocket jacket in the spring, which I liked for its lightness and inbuilt panels on the back and elbows...
But as things warm up, this sucker doesn't breathe at all -- being black doesn't help either.

- look where you want to go to turn
- push the steering in the direction you want to go
- wear earplugs
