Thanks guys. Definitely not worth fixing the 250. Guess i'll patch up what I can and continue riding for the rest of the season. I just needed some sage advice from more experienced riders and what you guys gave me makes sense.
Thanks again
Good morning all,
I just had an accident and went down on my bike; too much brake when cars in front came to a sudden hard slowdown (I know, I was probably riding too close but I was also in the process of changing lanes). A good Samaritan stopped to help and called 911. since I was OK and...
Hey Mister,
I ride a ninja, what I do is full choke, turn on and as the rpms rise I adjust the choke down to try and keep it around 2000, while I put on my gear, about 1 -2 minutes, the bike warms then I turn off the choke get on and ride. Since it's a manual choke it won't come down by itself.
I am currently on a family trip of the Atlantic provinces. I came down from Sherbrooke (QC) into Maine from RTE 212 to ME-27 (the Arnold trail) and took a series of small hwys going east and south-east towards NB. The roads were twisty, hilly and in good state for the most part. The scenery...
Excellent thread. I read approx 16 pages last night and did the road test today, passed with only 7 mistakes. This thread cleared up a question I was having about the proper tire track in the middle lane on a 3 lane highway and that is the middle lane does not have a specific proper tire...

Hey all. I got a ticket on Mortimer ave east of Coxwell ave, right along the emergency entrance to the hospital. I was parked in an area where there is a legal parking using the ticket machines. As far as I know I was legally parked. Being on the bike I did not pay for a ticket. I have a...
You can try Snow city cycle at Kennedy south of Ellesmere, try different CDN tire stores and there's also a motorcycle shop at Warden and Danforth (don't know the name, located at the car wash corner.
Ice pellets today on my way home at around 5:30pm, took it super easy on every turn coming home. It's going to be a nice sunny day tomorrow for commuting to work. Sunday also looks promising for a ride north.
Welcome to the forum. No heated gear here, the weather for this week looks more than acceptable. Starts cool on Monday then warms up to 8C. Unfortunately, I only use it during the week to commute, will keep commuting 'til the snow flies as well.
