    Blue Permatex, if I recall, resists oil, clean the surfaces with solvent, like brake clean .

    I always put a dab of blue silicone on a clip. That makes it easy to spot and helps ensure it stays put. and remember: Fish don't swim backwards. That tells you clip direction.

    When worked for Ontario Hydro they tested Toronto tap water to see it was okay in a battery.(actually we were using cells each about the size of a 5 gallon gas can). Findings said it would take 7 years for the minerals in T.O. tap to affect a battery with normal top ups. Batteries are pretty...
