Oh boy, well here’s the link to the listing. You guys be the judge because it looks convincing lol.

A 300 huh? I was looking at them as well but you'd be surprised how much the price just shoots up compared to the 250 even when used. Better worth the investment but insurance could potentially be higher too.
I would negotiate it into the price but theres only one issue...the seller is in...
Ya I have zero experience as this is my first step into the motorcycle world to be honest.
I'm gonna check out that list actually and use it as a reference for sure and I'll probably bring someone with me when I check out the bike. Otherwise, I'm thinking of just waiting to get a bike from...
Just a Ninja 250. The seller worked on the bike to get it ready to sell so I wouldn't need to do anything myself right away. Think it just needs an oil change at the most
Is it risky buying a used bike without having it been safetied from the seller?
Like lets say you check the bike out and looks great, is in working order, very low milage, and the seller is also willing to drop the price because it has no safety certificate, is it still a wise purchase...
Great information, peeps!
I think all in all, what I’m understanding is that it’s really a bike-by-bike basis kinda thing and the mileage is only part of the equation.
im so used to using the mileage # when it comes to car shopping but I guess it’s different with motorcycles.
So I’m looking at an 08 Ninja 250 with roughly 19.7k in usage. I might add that it has upgraded fairings and new tires.
Cosmetically, it looks great as the owner says it’s in mint condition but I haven’t seen the bike yet so I’ll have to wait and see for myself.
When you guys are buying or have bought your bike at one point, we’re you looking at the mileage/km to see if a significantly used bike would be a dealbreaker or not?
I know there are other factors that go into decision making process, but how much mileage is considered too much, if any?
I believe it's in Scarborough! Yeah, if I could have someone come along with me that would be great.
Still have to get some more info from the seller though.
Really appreciate the help!
No, I'm definitely not getting anything bigger than a 300cc thats for sure! I need the riding experience first and I wanna be able to afford insurance haha.
I've yet to go and see the bike in person so at this current time, I don't know much else except for what I...
Thanks for the advice!
I actually may have access to a trailer so if I do see a good bike now for the right price then I wouldn't mind "putting the cart before the horse" if you know what I mean lol
I'll keep everything in mind though when I go see the bike in person.
