I can only speak to the Cabos area where HD and a few BMW's were available to rent. Keep in mind that the locals are very discourteous to any bikers. This was attributed to a social class thing I was told when I kept getting bumped at stop lights.

There is an outift run by the local Boyz of the Hood that will rent you a sport bike and exotic italian cars. They display right on the 'strip' but I must admit, the Boyz scared me as they seemed like the type that would steal them rather than rent them.

The insurance companies like to add a premium to the 'R' models so there must be something related to more HP to justify their action.
