    v twin vs Inline 4

I have to agree on the exhaust sound. I have a ninja 650 which is a twin but the inline 4 engines do sound much better to me. +1 on the vibration too.

    Q: Sidewalk construction

I believe that is an infiltration gallery. Provides storage for rainwater to aid in infiltration into the ground to avoid loading the storm sewers. It still has an outlet to the storm sewer as there is only so much water that can infiltrate during a medium/high intensity storm.

    Quebec - Ride of Century

Quebec - Ride of Century 2015 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MjM4POLut2Y Not that I condone this activity, but I am surprised that nobody had organized a similar event down here in Ontario. Do they have an HTA stunt driving charge in Quebec ?

    Costco tire road hazard warranty

Their tire warranty saved me once. I caught a nail in the sidewall with 5k on a brand new tire. They replaced it for free as it was irreparable. Other than that, if the tire cannot be repaired, they give you credit value based on % amount of tread you have left. When it comes to rims, the...

    Carpenters! Question about cabinet plywood

Not a carpenter but Baltic Birch is a higher quality wood and is me more expensive than Maple. I like the finish look on it vs Maple but it is not a huge difference. Maple Plywood is easier to find. A lot of cabinet makers do you use particle board as it is cheaper but quality kitchens are...

    safety needed quickly - Mississauga/ Oakville/Burlington/Brampton

Go to Ted @ Rosey Toes. Great guy but definitely a character. He does in on the spot, assuming there are no issues with your motorcycle.

What should my next bike be?

I 2nd FZ-07 or FZ-09. Really good looking street fighter bike and sounds much better than a 650. I am not sure why you found a 650R uncomfortable on longer rides, as it has a more upright relaxed position.

Wobble/Shimmy when letting go of handlebars

Thanks Brian. I'll look into it further and report back. I had somebody press down on the bars while I tried pinpointing the location of the noise. I've felt the clicking near the bottom of the fork and/or next to the caliper; therefore one of the first two conditions makes sense. I often feel...

Wobble/Shimmy when letting go of handlebars

Thanks for the input all. I really appreciate it. I am leaning towards the tires, but I jus realized that I have a clicking type of noise when I compress the forks with moderate pressure. Is that normal ? or would it possible that the steering head bearing making the noise ? Never knew that it...

Wobble/Shimmy when letting go of handlebars

This was also suggested by someone I know. How would I check ? Lift the front and see if there is any play ? Wouldn't think they would go that fast with 2,000km on the odometer.

Wobble/Shimmy when letting go of handlebars

I've been having this issue with a 2012 Ninja 650. When I let go of the bars, at speeds usually above 60 km/h, the handlebars shimmy left to right. Just like a speed wobble but very lightly. Mind you, sometimes it doesn't shimmy but then again on smooth perfectly paved roads it may shimmy again...
