Yes indeed. It's officially released and the pricing is exactly what I had anticipated in my first post. Good price point for a Japanese I4 screamer. Hopefully they bring this over at the upcoming Toronto motorcycle show.
Couldn't agree more on the swan song! As matter of fact, one article read that Kawasaki is to unveil the ZX-4R and 2 electric motorcycles together at EICMA this year
Surprised to see there isn't a thread on this yet. So here it goes & lets talk about it.
The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4R - A small capacity, high revving, I-4 with 75-80Hp output, super-sport bike --> what's not to like in that. Going by videos of the ZX25R available in Asian markets, this is going...
Dang! i actually didn't even read that part in OP's post. I just skipped to reading that he was looking at the F900R. My bad! ;-)
I absolutely agree, for first time street riding the S1KR is a handful!
Hey buddy,
I will strongly recommend checking out the BMW S1000R. I started with having almost similar purchase criteria, although my budget wasn't this high nor am i as tall as you. I was really set on getting either the Triumph Street Triple or Speed Triple. After testing the Street Triple, i...
Went for a ride on Sunday around Niagara region. My first time riding along the Niagara parkway. The weather could not have been better for riding, just perfect. The parkway was surprisingly empty both ways, i was expecting slow moving traffic especially on my way back in afternoon. Rode for a...
I use a Dainese Super Rider D-Dry jacket. It's a textile jacket, however comes with a removable waterproof liner which works fantastic. So although the jacket itself is not waterproof, the liner add's that flexibility. Had a chance to test its waterproofing last week and it works just fine. The...
The Street Triple is a truly fantastic motorcycle overall. So much so that i didn't even try the Speed Triple that i was supposed to after i test rode the Street. However, yes as mentioned already the insurance rates are high on the Triumph. I was quoted same rate for Street Triple and the S1000R.
Yeah this definitely will be a better choice from outright touring and comfort point of view vs. the single R. I absolutely don't mind the 'slight' downgrade in outright performance as i don't think i can ever utilize all of what these S1000 I-4 engines have to offer anyway.
I actually got...
Brilliant bike and great color choice buddy! I am going to follow this thread closely. Just 3 months into ownership of my S1000R and my wife has given up on riding pillion with me complaining about how uncomfortable the rear seat is. I have been warming her up towards this as our next bike...
