How long do you keep your motorcycles?

I always looked at the Buell Ulysses. A new car got in the way,.... yeah I know...

The Bad Drivers of Ontario Thread

That went on everywhere in the `70`s. Cops also used to chalk mark tires and check back in a few or more hours to see who was at a bar for how long, and later wait to stop them. I saw it happen at the Jolly Miller at Yonge/York Mills, it`s probably a condo now.

I`d imagine you`ve been eyeballin` the new Buell Super Cruiser. That bike looks like crazy RZ350 type fun on steroids. I saw Kaplan Cycles in CT. I believe, has the first 2 off the line.

My `78 GS1000 right there. Suzuki did an exceptional job on those, likely the best street bike I`ve ever owned. And the best stock seat ever too.

How long do you keep your motorcycles?

Most of us found out the hard way. The old RD350`s went full Honey Badger on a lot of riders.

What did you do in your garage today..?

Since MotoGP is mostly the Ducati Cup...put the entire grid on 1000cc current tech two strokes sans all the available myriad of techno nannies. MM93 can highside himself into orbit. This season was rather boring. At least the bagger series is still a spectacle. :p

What did you do in your garage today..?

Since a push start is out, you`re covered. It`s like did a Yamaha 2 stroke autolube pump ever fail? I heard of one... ever.

What did you do in your garage today..?

Speaking of throwing snow....years ago when I first got the small 520, I was doing the end of the drive after the plow was by. I wasn`t familiar with the machine at all and managed to fire a fist size ball of ice at the neighbors house, just missing taking out their large front window by inches. :p

What did you do in your garage today..?

When I got the big 724 I thought maybe I shoulda` got the e-start model. Once I figured it out they start pretty easy though. Just like the old XL250, XL350 and XL500 did. I pull the 724 thru a few times until compression, gas on, choke on, switch on, and one firm pull normally does it.

What did you do in your garage today..?

Ariens are good, neighbor has a large one. He also just got some ancient small 2 stroke blower that was his Grandfathers. I LMAO at it, sounds like a outboard/chainsaw cross......smells good though.

What did you do in your garage today..?

Buy the Honda. I`ve got 3 of `em, two smaller.. the 520 and 720 and the big 724/wheels not track. I`ve lived in real snow areas for ages, Bradford, Barrie and now Kawartha Lakes. I bought the 520 in `98 and the other two within 9 or so years. Overrated?... no, Pricey?...yeah kinda. The little...

Just remember, as we go into the Christmas holiday season...

Totally true. Don`t ever think that Mothra cares about you though. Mothra hates you. Those old Japanese Godzilla films are brutally bad and hilarious at the same time. The actors playing it so serious and a guy in a rubber Godzilla suit booting over model buildings crack me up. Don`t forget too...

Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

The last Harley V-Rod`s were built in 2017 I think, I`m reading on some forums about parts unavailability already.

    What are you reading?

Just got it today..."I`ll Be Gone In The Dark", one woman`s obsessive search for the Golden State Killer, by Michelle McNamara. She died suddenly in 2016 from unknown heart issues and an accidental OD. A couple other true crime writers and her husband, Patton Oswalt finished it. Former cop, Joe...
