    New truck?

I believe the US manufacturers already discontinued the mid sized pickups. You can probably buy leftover dealer inventories. So pretty much Tacoma, Frontier, Ridgeline for brand new. News are the US manufacturers are planning the bring back the midsized trucks next year and badge them as...

    New truck?

Hi Wingboy, If you're not going to tow, but instead haul your bikes on the bed, you need to check to total payload of the tacoma. From the mechanical specs the tacoma is good for 1,050 lbs (4x2 Access or 4x4 Double Cab) and 1,200(4x4 access), that includes all the driver + passengers + bikes +...

+1 That's why I suggested a V6 at minimum if you plan on towing. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2

    New truck?

Haha. I hear you. The 1500 is a big one. Anyway, good luck on your purchase. The Tacoma is one reliable truck. I'm sure it will suit your needs.

    New truck?

If your buying Tacoma. Its good. Get the V6. But fuel economy is same as the full size trucks. I also suggest the 2013 Ram 1500 V6 with the 8speed ZF transmission. Should be less than 30K with the factory rebate. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2

First 1000km service ... and a real shock

Wow, I got burned there too. Used to live in London, I sent my bike there for my first service driving ~170 kms one way. I was new to riding and thought I should bring it to them since I bought it from them. When I returned home the lock nuts on my shifter was replaced by a fu!@#@g zip tie...

    Yamaha V-star 650 or 950

If insurance is not an issue go with the 950. I have the 650, it's a reliable and fun bike, but you have to do some exhaust and carb work to open up it's potential :)

    Vstar 650 2nd opinion...

I have a 2009 VStar 650 classic. It's a fun bike. I mod the sh%t out of it. If your driving lots of hiway on the stock exhaust/jets it has tons of vibration, I suggest doing these 2 mods. GAK (http://www.650ccnd.com/gak.htm) + Exhaust mods (either do the cheap drill 3 holes on your stock...
