    In Between Gloves Sizes

Glad I am not the only one! I was on the fence whether it was just the SP8's rather than the whole line up. There will always be inconsistency within brands but SP8's fits so odd from the bunch. The medium SMX-1 Air I had were brutal at first, still haven't got to the point of comfort. The SP8...

    In Between Gloves Sizes

Hey guys! So I am a huge fan of Alphinestars, own their jacket and a gloves. However, I am conflicted to switch to other known brands since my hands are between their measured M and L. Based on their size chart and hand circumference, Medium 20.3-21.6cm and Large 21.6-22.9cm. I am right smack in...

    Buying gear from Europe

I just received my order from FC Moto! Ordered from there since no one local had the helmet colourway I wanted, as well as an Alphinestars jacket. It came after two weeks ordering and paid nothing in duties, just shipping fees. I was surprised I wasn't pinned a penny since it was a large dollar...

Upcoming Rider- Insurance Shopping is Fun :/

It’s a 2019! Love this bike, so easy to ride and much more aggressive ergos than the F4i surprisingly. Exactly what I wanted, couldn’t be happier. Thanks everyone! Sent from my iPhone using GTAMotorcycle.com mobile app

    Classed Cancelled M1 nearly expired

I took my M1 License in Feb 2020. When my M2 course was pushed from the pandemic, I still got to do my course in Sept with an "expired" M1. As stated above, the ministry has put an indefinite extension on license, registration etc. unless announce otherwise.

    M1 insurance

I was actually on the same boat as you a year ago. I recently made a post in "Introduce Yourself" section lightly covering insurance. Long story short, I bought a bike beginning of 2020 season with my M2 course a month after. With the pandemic, the course was delayed until Sept. During the warm...

Upcoming Rider- Insurance Shopping is Fun :/

Nice, thanks for the info. How does it do on highways or longer trips? Greatly considering an R3 and RC390. Are the insurance quotes for full coverage or just 3rd party liability? Those are great rates! I would be plenty happy around $150.

Upcoming Rider- Insurance Shopping is Fun :/

Yeah I have already! I pretty much called every insurance company possible. They were the second cheapest being at $295 month. If money wasn't too much of problem, I would definitely keep the F4i as a track bike! I think best case scenario is to do a complete trade with someone that's offering...

Upcoming Rider- Insurance Shopping is Fun :/

Thanks! I'm glad to be part of the group. I would happily get a 300cc like the R3. I purchased the F4i being cheaper than any 300cc bike on the used market. Whether a great beginner bike or not, it made sense dollar per dollar, but that was my first mistake. I don't expect keep premiums to be...

Upcoming Rider- Insurance Shopping is Fun :/

Yeah, I've read countless threads on here and many on Reddit, Ontario is very bad for SS insurance. It's my fault for not reading up first and jumping the gun. I see the occasional track days with my car, so that's something Ill consider. Ill try a couple more brokers and would gladly take it...

Upcoming Rider- Insurance Shopping is Fun :/

Hey guys, first post here in GTAM! I am a car guy that recently took my M2 in Sept for "more fun for less dollar" through motorcycles. The rush you'd get on a motorcycle is nowhere near a car for the money spent. However, I had no clue how bad insurance was in Ontario and soon realized the...
