Don't know if this will help but when I had to bump start mine, I used second gear because the wheel would just skid in first. Are you giving it throttle when it catches?

Hey every one I was looking for Ducati rides and I stumbled upon GTA Motorcycle. I have a Monster 696 and I love it. Puts a smile on my face every time I take it out. I have been on two wheels for over 20 years but about 5 on a moto. Anyway, hope to get out to a ride soon.
