Rider Down - Jane St North of St Clair

Did he strike the back of the car because the car cut him off by chance?

Be Careful - got hit at a red

He won't have anything to regret because it is not his decision to make. In Canada, it is up to the police to lay charges. The civilian can't "press charges" like they do in the States. It was up to the officer to lay the charges, and frankly, he should have. That was careless driving, and a...

Stopped today for using City of Toronto HOV (Diamond) Lanes

I thought they are only allowed to use SOME of the City of Toronto HOV lanes? There was a list on the City's website indicating which ones

If I want to buy something and find it at a good price, I don't haggle at all, but pay asking. It's a cultural thing, whether one is more inclined to haggle or not. And in Toronto you have more representation from cultures that haggle or low-ball. If I'm selling, I just ignore low-ball offers...

What's going on?? So many accidents!

Statistically the number of deaths due to motorcycles has remained constant around 200/year in Canada. Not sure about the number of accidents though.

Every Thursday night - Lakeshore and Leslie???

It's going to be a crazy evening for WIND tonight! So much wind in the forecast, even my (advanced, not beginner) sailing class got cancelled. People still come out when it's gusty?

    Being praised for driving 190km/hr????

For the people making sarcastic comments about the brakes... I had a pedal stuck under a mat when I was a teen, and braking does nothing when the accelerator is on the floor. All it does is make a nice smoke show. Until you get the accelerator unstuck.

statefarm put accident under my name?

It could just be an FYI in your file, but not have any impact on your insurability. If your parents had you listed as still living with them or as an occasional driver on their car, the claim would show up in your file as an FYI. My ex husband filed a claim on his policy for his work vehicle...

Having a hard time practicing the serpentine for M1 Exit

The RTI instructors teach the following when rounding pylons. First gear, use the clutch to stay slow, and turn your head completely in the direction you want to go. This is key. And for goodness sake, don't look down at the pylon. That's how you'll drop your bike. The key thing to note here is...

Motorcycle driver sent to hospital after collision with cruiser

Doesn't matter though. The onus is on the left-turner to only turn when it is safe and clear to do so. Have to agree with jeffjones - love how "carefully worded" that is.
