Absolutely right. Way too many variables to make a blanket statement that single disk braking systems are less effective. I know on my CBR500 if have no issues getting the back end to lift under hard braking.

I am going up but later in the day. Was thinking of going North then taking Hwy 7 across to Woodbine then North again. Are there any nice routes? Hwy 7 doesn't seem to interesting.

I was there as well. It was a first time for me. I have a new CBR500 and although nice, I was drooling over the beautiful retro bikes there. RetroGrouch, we didn't meet but from the pics, I remember you came in on a Monster 900, right? Looking forward to coming out to the next one.

Oh wow. I loved that track and all of it's configurations. Spent lots of weekends there participating in lapping days and Solo 1 events. Made great friends and shared many laughs. Hopefully somebody will pick it up and turn it around.
