I agree with the beginner bikes. They are cheaper to insure and maintain until you outgrow it, or stick with it. Welcome to the forum.

Recent movies you saw - recommend or no

Foxcatcher - Great acting on all 3 lead roles Carell, Tatum, Ruffalo. Not knowing anything about this film and the real life events it was loosely based on, I found the first quarter of the film very slow. But beyond that, it got very interesting and disturbing. I give it 4 out of 5 stars.

    CBR 300 vs YZF R3 ... or CB 300F?

I second getting a used CBR250RA (abs model) which is very similar to the 300 but at a significant discount. The highway "buzz" is not a problem to me even on longer rides. I've put over 5,000 kilometres on my 250 and so far so good on wear and tear. And since you're concerned about getting...

    Which is easier?

    1. Yes, they are in neutral and that is why they are able to release the clutch --- usually to stretch. I stay in 1st gear 90% of the time. 2. From a stop, the optimal gear to use is the first gear. Each gear has a limited range of power delivery at various speeds and resistance (weight, drag...

My body hit the car, not my bike - Careless driving ticket

I think you should stop disclosing any more details about the incident and do not contact the other party. Careless driving is the worst non-criminal traffic violation so I think you should get legal advice from a lawyer.

    RE GEAR Stores.

I have had good experience at Re-Gear Oshawa and it's conveniently located from where I live. They are very friendly, and they MAY take 'cash' transactions for used gear if you ask. That's where I bought these throw-over saddlebags for my Nighthawk at a great price.
